The true colour of Henna is a dark green. People who do Temp tattoo's want the tattoo and henna to go further so they add writers ink and god only knows what else to the ink giving it a black colour and a much cheaper product for themselves. Don't do it. Explain to the kids it's just not safe. If it's something they really want done go to a tattoo parlour and get them to do a tattoo minus the needle. But seriously I just say' "NO" to my kids. It's not worth the risk. I don't even do it here in Oz as It's not Henna....
