Getting ready to book my 3rd trip to Bali and trying my best to get the hotel right. Aside from the usual criteria of clean, nice breakfasts and good service, we are looking for a hotel that is mainly Aussie filled and has a fun atmosphere like popular happy hours and swim up bars etc. There are no racist thoughts in what we want, it is just that the last 2 times, although the hotels we very nice, very few people spoke English or even smiled back and we found it a bit boring. This time we hope for a bit more interaction with other guests as we have been married for 20 years and have run out of things to talk about:)
On walking around Legian last time we had lunch at the Blue Ocean Restaurant and thought it would be a good area to stay in.
