go over on the rocky boat $45aus return pick up & drop back at your hotel included in price. when you get off the boat go around to the back of the shops & see roger he has heaps of bikes $5 a day to hire. there is heaps of places to stay, most people come to the island & have a walk around with-out booking then find a place you like & book in, there is heaps to choose from for all budgets, we stayed at pondok baruna for 3 weeks, room right on the beach $22 a night with b/fast, cold water & fan. places on the hill start at $50 a night. if you go to your left when you get off the boat there is cheaper places along the beach. we ate at all the places up that way, the food was really good. buy fruit from the little stalls. get a map from one of the tourist places. head to mangrove point then over the bridge to the other island. turn right when you get over the bridge & explore. have a banana juice at mades warung they are more like a thick shake & only $1aus. eat with the locals at chandra & try their fried chicken $1.50aus. go up the lane beside pondok baruna & see how the locals live. call into tropical warung & put your hand print on the wall. happy hour along the beach 5pm till 7pm.
