I have booked a Virgin Saver Fare which gives you 7kg hand luggage, but on the internet I have booked three pieces of extra luggage. Each one can be up to 23kg. The cost is $60 per piece, but as all of that 69kgs is for an orphanage, and is of value, plus has been given to me for free, the cost is well worth it.
On return I have booked two pieces at 23kg at $60 per piece. It normally costs me $205 for 25kg to have it sent back by DHL.
Trust that makes sense.
