From your user name I take it you are a granny? Fun loving or the type who likes total quiet and no kids?
We've stayed at HRH and have kids 6 & 8yrs.
I don't think there are rooms below ground. Reception is on level 3 & there is a steep driveway up to it but the rooms are at the side & back of reception & some are below reception but not underground!
I didn't find it any noisier than other hotels. The pool is huge and 'awesome' but there are quieter areas around it. There were all types staying there: with and without kids.
We are not party people but probably chose to stay there twice because the kids loved the pool & it has a good kids club.
Depends what you're after I guess. Food & drinks aren't that cheap but fairly normal for that standard of hotel.
