Upon purchasing smokes in Bali, You pay tax to Indonesian Government.
Upon arriving in Australia, our red-headed leader puts her hand out for another tax called duty. This is Because she is missing out on a ridiculous amount of sales tax when we have purchased smokes overseas.
Even though the Oz government wants us to give up smokes, they rape us addicted smokers with even more taxes to make up the shortfall that they have from some people quitting. If they were truly serious about us quitting, they would just instantly ban them like they did with "chronic", but then where would they get the missing taxes from then?
