I went in mid-April and had a great day sitting by the pool.
I didnt have much on that day so I caught a cab over from Sanur and sat by the pool.

I got there about 1 or 1:30 and left just as the sun was setting.

I ordered a large 1.5L Avian water for $9 (!!) a coke, juice, small pizza and later a calamari salad.

It didn't cost me anything as such to rent the pool bed (could have also used the cabana up the back if I wanted to) but I bought food and drinks throughout the day. It cost Rp50,000 to rent the towel.

It was VERY quiet during the day. At one stage there was only 2 other people there. Later in the afternoon more people came and most of the pool beds around the pool were full. I was then asked if I would like to buy any more drinks (2-4-1 cocktails from 4pm) I bought a juice but as I was just happy to relax I didnt buy any alcoholic drinks.

Still all up a couple of non alcoholic drinks, 2 small meals and towel hire cost me approx Rp450,000.

I have been to potato head too and I think if you are looking for somewhere to relax I would suggest cocoon. They didnt expect me to buy anything throughout the day and was left alone. It was a bit different as the sun was setting, but fair enough as I was using a pool bed in a prime position that other customers could have been using. It was a good excuse to leave, stop being lazy and walk along the beach as the sun was setting!

Does that help? Sorry I havent been to a splash party.

Oh and the bathroom has a shower which was a nice touch after swimming all day.
