Our first 'over eager' snorkeling adventure on the island was out the front of the Ko Ko Mo resort and though stunning we still sport the coral scars :0}
Yes the other end of the island is great snorkeling. Still a bit of a hassle wading out on the low tide and watch that afternoon rip.
I'm sure you're all going to have a fantastic day trip today, much better jumping in off the boat.
Your guide may already have some but it's good fun taking some empty water bottles full of bread to squirt into the water when snorkeling and there are fish about, you soon get surrounded...watch those gorgeous parrot fish though they will take it from your fingers and nip too.
