Still not much is happening wave wise down at Balangan. Don't get me wrong there are waves but the majority are small, closing out or have to be shared with at least 3 people. The beach is fairly quiet as well. So had to once again surf at Uluwatu for some size. Wave height was 2-3 ft. At 11 am there was no space left to sit in water by 12pm people must have been getting the urge to eat as I found myself surfing with only 6 guys out at temples. I find it amazing that people whinge about waves in Bali. Even the worst day the winds are offshore all day, the water is warm and the waves are better than most days back at people's home breaks. Other than surfing I don't do much else during the day. Drove through Dreamland yesterday and all I can say is what the ^%# have they done. Spent up big on food yesterday ...110000rph. This included 3 x 1.5L of water, 3 x mizone sports drinks, 1 x peanut butter Oreo biscuits, 1 x lemon ice tea and 3 x coconut pudding things..All of that stuff came to $3.62 Australian. Hopefully the swell will pick up a little today. So I can surf somewhere different and try out my 6'2 Redz.
