I posted about web check in but maybe you are asking about buying seats &/or baggage/food?
If so, then yes, we choose aisle seats & are happy to pay the few $ to get them. (Coming back last week the guy next to me in a middle seat felt I should vacate my aisle seat at the front to swap with his g/f who had a middle seat way down the back & he was irked when I refused & told him that they should pay a few $ if seating matters, as it does to me).
I always buy 30kg baggage for the trip back & never order food because I dislike AA food & it's such a short flight.
