Surfed uluwatu both days due to size of waves at Balangan. Heaps of waves up at temples so vibe in water nice and relaxed. The traffic going into and out of Kuta really bad. Now I am one of those people who ride a motorbike while in Bali but I have riding bikes for 15 years and feel comfortable in lots of traffic but what I saw down in Uluwatu yesterday dumbfounded me. Two aussie boys one 10 and the other 12 riding bikes with no helmets .their feet couldn't even touch the ground when they stopped...seriously what type of parents would let their kids on bikes in bali ? On a positive note about 500metres on right hand side after you take the turn to Balangan there is a new warung that serves Peruvian food. It was absolutely fantastic. Diego the owner goes out of his way to explain everything on menu..Well worth a visit if ur out this way
