Best place to ask to be dropped off at is Ultimo's or Rumours, there are many restaurants around this area, Trattoria, Nirvana, Khaima, Bali Cafe. You will be spoilt for choice.
Sardine's is a great restauran but definitely in the higher end category and quite a way from where you needed to be.
