almost a whole day to do it. You need to go to the Police station at Kerobokan about 45 minutes from Kuta. You will need to sit for a written test (in Indonesian) or pay about 300000rp to "a policeman" to circumvent it. You will also have to pay for a medical examination (20000rp) & about 20000rp for a security clearance. You need to go to about 4 different offices within the complex & have photo copies of your passport, visa, etc.The licence is good for 1 month only.
Take an Inodesian friend with you.
