Toko Central is a fab shop for lace and trims and crafty stuff. It is at Jalan Raya Kuta No 102. Two shops opposite sides of the road. The one with lace and ribbons also has the cheapest flower hair clips available.
I bought one lot of silk at Alta Moda in January which was beautiful for a dress, not sure how much stock they would have of silks at any given time. Definately shoe string.
