and had a great day. The ride was from Mt Batur down to Taro, it was 95% downhill or straight with just a couple of little climbs. The truch follows so you can get a lift it it becomes too much for you. It was really interesting going through an ancient village and then when you get to Taro you visit with the elephants. There was a "show"which does nothing for me and you can pay and have a ride on them. I just loved being able to get up close and touch them. Have there trunks resting on your shoulders etc. The lunch was also very good. I'm going back to Bali in * weeks and hope to do this again with my young cousins. Cheers Carmel
