I stopped riding one in 2009, never again, I have seen 3 fatalities in 35 minutes on the way to work, on average I now see 1 a month, if lucky it's only that many. Tourists on motorbikes scare me the most on the roads when I am driving as they seem to think as we drive on the left its the same as a country such as Australia, for example we give way to the left here. I nearly hit a tourist in Seminyak yesterday and she screamed abuse at me for not giving way to her (she was in the wrong but obviously believed she was right, she came from my right, straight across in front of me on the highway), it shook me up as I was 1 cm from her and lost a lot of rubber slamming on my brakes as I have a large vehicle. A bus load of locals nearly hit me from behind, the driver of the bus was also in shock, I think he lost more rubber and his passengers may have incurred injuries. Said tourist drove off while we sat there for a few seconds to compose ourselves.
