I have stayed on Gili T twice and wouild go back again tomorrow.
I was concerned that it had a reputation as a party island, however we didn't go during full moon, when I understand the young 'uns might run amok.
Anyway, Gili T was fantastic for snorkelling - many fish and turtles were a highlight, a day trip to the other islands, relaxing looking at the view to Lombok reading a book or a long walk around the island (maybe you might want to take the local horse/cart instead if you have knee/feet issues)!
We stayed at Scallyways and then at Kokomo (go there for a sensational meal).
Both are fantastic.
It's a slow paced island, with no traffic and we found it really quiet and relaxing.
No shopping to be done!
Just lovely clean water and plenty of beach spots to have a few drinks.
