Thanks - re this hotel, I have really put myself off it,after really looking forward to it. A couple of people said they came home with scabies from the beds (!), and others said there is never sun on the pool and at the risk of sounding like a whining middle class tourist (which I guess I am), this is a much needed break and I have to get some sun. If you found the hotel to be otherwise and if you think it was sunny, would love to hear it. I liked the fact that it is green, and restful, and a bit ot of Ubud. But scabies.....that unnerved me.I am drawn to the history and the authenticity of the place and could be persuaded if reassured!
