Hi, I have a 15 month old daughter and have been living here since she was 3 months old. Please find my answers to your questions below.

1.What insect repellent is recommended for children? And works? - Johnsons - it's in a green color bottle available at carrefour or similar. Around $2 for a bottle. Have been using it on my daughter since 3 months with no problems.

2. Is fresh milk readily available? - Yes, Greenfields is ok, can be purchased at most supermarkets - carrefour, bintang.

3. Has anyone used Travelan or TravelBug (or similar) with their kids to help prevent Bali Belly? - have never used anything like this.

4. Are Huggies nappies available over there? - Yes they are but slightly different. I always used these however last week at carrefour noticed a new Japanese Brand - apparently no.1 in Japan, anyway I gave them a go, available in both nappies and pull ups. They are softer and fit my daughter better than huggies and again no problems with these. You will pay around $10 for a packet of say 32 in medium size

5. What vaccinations did you get for your children, if any? - Just the standard Australian immunisations at this stage.

Hope this helps and you enjoy your holidays.
