There's been a little bit of discussion about it on here the last month or two.
Opinions on it seem polarised from what I can see. Personally, I think it's a good value budget hotel. I stayed for 2 1/2 weeks in March and had no issues at all with the place, but I only paid $31 a night for a superior room (through wotif). Not sure I'd pay much more for it, but I've stayed in a lot worse for that price (Sri Ratu).
Good sized clean but old room. Air con worked perfect, comfy large bed, local tv with one movie and one news channel in english, bar fridge (empty). Fresh towel daily (only one if staying solo - aside from occasional days where they accidentally left 2). Sheets and towels were white and new.
Location was good and I enjoyed it for a change from Legian where I usually stay. 10min walk to Kuta Sq. Plenty of fantastic local food options nearby.
Pool looked nice, but I'm not much of a swimmer so never got around to using it.
Staff were friendly enough and helpful when needed. Other guests not so friendly, but you get that sometimes.
Anything else?
