I've been to Bali twice before with a partner (unfortunately we are no longer together). We spent a lot of time getting to know the culture and traditions attached to Bali. We stayed in the non tourist areas, went to the outer Islands, stayed with local families, learnt to cook, speak a little of their language.
I am going to Bali in August with a mate this time (my first time traveling on a "Boys Trip". I want to see the side of Bali that most get to see on their first trip, lets just call it Touristy things.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
