My dear Mum (72 yrs) is a techno neophyte, and a junkie at the same time. She has plenty of interest, and virtually no understanding. Fair enough.
NOTE: SLIGHTLY TECH speak starts here.... I sent her a simple home video the other day off my camera, HD, only 90 secs long, but the damn thing is over 70MB, compressed. I'm hosting it on my server and have sent her through the URL to stream to her iPad, with a warning that she'll need to find a fast connection as the thing is huge, and her connections over there tend to be very slow. Of course, I get the call back that she "can't see it and it's frozen on a single image - and why won't it play for her, it's so frustrating". I again state that her WiFi at the villa is too slow - if she realy needs to see it (it's not exactly Academy Award material) she'll need to source a fast connection for her iPad.
So... who, or where, is the fastest WiFi on the island for my dear Mum's iPad?
