Hi Moreno
I did a little research on here before we left and got fairly positive feedback and had a lits lathough we only got to a few of those restuarants.
Before we left I got GF@ to contact coeliac society and get I am allergoc to gluten ( wheat flour) and lactose in both bahasa and indoenesian. She printed it our and laminated and carried this little card everywhere we went. Some restaurants like Mozzerella by the sea understood very well. Others did not.
Before I left i contacted Pearl and Biku who both said they could do gluten free, we didn't end up making it to either of these places but they just said to advise when booking.
The padma has lots of gluten free options at breakfast and the Italian restuarant had a page of gluten free choices. We even met the lady on staff who introduced the gluten free options to the hotel and she was very helpful.
They seem much more aware ofthis then they would have 5 years ago. My girldfriend also took some GF cereal and biscuits form home. I can assure you the cereal box never got opened ad Padma offered so many choices for breaky, no GF bread but muffins and pancakes etc along with the usual bacon and eggs.
Hope you enjoy your trip.
