Arrived very late Saturday night flight Brisbane to Darwin and on to Bali, very long. Good old Jet Star booked the two of us and ended up getting seated separately even though I asked that we be seated together, reply sorry no seats available, but once on the plane we both have seats to ourselves at opposite ends of the plane not just one flight but both, go figure. Have done the Brisbane to Sydney - Sydney to Bali flight and think this will be the last and will just have to fly direct. Please bring on Garuda.
VOA is set up to confuse you, we were not given the Customs form on the plane and had to get that once in the airport. The arrivals form was in a different place, very disorganized. But hey thats Bali and we were through very fast.
Bought 4 bottles of wine in no problems at all. TIP bring beautiful daughter keep customs amused and you go through madam. lol Then have to ask daughter are you ready daughter, we need to go.
We are in Sanur and its very windy but pleasant takes the edge off the heat. Off to Denpasar tomorrow to get some jewellery remodeled and some shopping.
Ordered two dresses at Romantic Tailor opposite the Besakih, will let you know how they go. Tried the Tailor near the Bumi Ayu but the boss is away need to wait until she is back.
Will report later on.
