I have never tried counterpain but a friend asked me to get it for them and bought one for myself. I think it is really helpful for arthritis, he uses it on wrist and hands I think. I have problems with mine so going to give it a go. The salonpas is a patch that you put on places where you are sore, very good for sore backs and also use it on my neck. You leave it on for up to 24 hours. Then don't apply again for 24 hrs usually don't have to put another one on. I originally bought it from my acupuncurist $5 for 10 patches then found it for $2.50. Then spotted them here this year, definitely cheaper than Aus, but because the docket was torn off cannot tell you how much cheaper, perhaps someone else can. I bought the Salonpashot as they say it gets a lot hotter than the other one. The cost at Seminyal was 68,000.
Went to Bintang Supermarket while power was off. Just come back on. There is counterpain there but not the large size there are actually 4 sizes, the one I bought at Hardys isn't the largest size. The Apotek which is just next door just before you turn into the carpark or supermarket if you are coming from Legian. They have thre large one 80,600 and the next size down 60,000. The Chinese shop which is outside the supermarket they had them for 62,000. patches from the chinese medicine next door, Tina G recommended them and I bought 2 boxes of Tianhe which was 45,000 each they have 10 large patches in each packet. Tina says they are very hot.
