My best advice is always have wipes available in your handbag and clean hands often.
Doesn't hurt to take the advice to take gastrolyte tubes (that can be frozen when you get to Bali).. doesn't hurt to be prepared. Also it has been said often on here that the one of the best things for gastro (and we were told this by staff when our friends son came down with Bali Belly) is Guava juice which can be bought in Circle K etc :)
Always remember that all the hotels and resorts have doctors available so if in need don't hesitate to call the staff and arrange a doctor, they are wonderful with kids. As a Mum you will know when its doesn't feel right, then head straight off to the hospital.
