Wow I would be stoked if I could get flights in the april hols for $590. will keep looking, we can't fly out until 13th or later. I have never had a prob with jetstar domestic or international (I have flown with them 9 times) except our flight home from Bali last week was 40 min late to depart as arriving flight had strong headwind, but the made up time on way home so we still landed on time.
Virgin, only flew once. Our departing flight left 2 hours late. Our return flight was changed form direct to sydney to via melbourne. We nearly missed our connecting domestic flight they gave us from Melbourne as all the fragile items took 50 minutes to come through as they were short on baggage handlers. The was no breakfast offered on flight and then we were stuck in baggage and customs for ever, my daughter vomitted form being hungry and over tired. When we finally walked in the door to our home at 2pm, some 15 hours after we left our hotel in Bali we were all shattered and went to bed. I was pissed off that it was a crappy ending to a great holiday and Virgin couldn't careless that they made us be in transit for so long when travelling with Children. Anyway that is my whinge about Virgin...
