All the windows were open so all staff were on hand. There were 2 other flights checking in at the same time as us and it was that busy, that some people had to be called to the top of the line so they could go through priority checkin to make it to their flight.
I would definately have a few snacks with you when you depart.
Maybe we should have done what others did and have one or our party to a "food run" to get us something to eat as there was a coffee stand close by.
I will be raising our concerns with Virgin particularily as they are the only ones that fly direct.
Apparently we had the full complement of staff. Staffed if I know how,,,,,,
I would recommend getting there atleast 2.5hrs early and choose your seats on line. Online selection can be done about 7 days out.
