We have just returned from our 5th trip but took 4 BV's with us this time around. I would recommend:
* Bali Bike Ride. Takes you through communities and rice fields and you get to see the real Bali.
* Sunset at Jimbaran Bay (or any beach location) as it is stunning.
* Sit on the beach and have a massage and talk to the locals. It is interesting to find out about their lives.
* Monkey Forest and definately the Temple of the Dead down the big long stairs. It is really beautiful.
* Learn to cook indo food.
* Rice terraces.
* Visit any of the beautiful Temples.
* Try Hitana restaurant at Bali Niksoma. Great food, great view (go upstairs at sunset) and excellent prices. I think its buffet night on Sunday night for 185,000rp. Many balinese dances on this evening.
* Watch the world go by at Posers Bar, just opposite the entry to Garlic Lane.
* Shopping in Poppies 1 and 2 or anywhere for that matter.
* Take over your favourite dress and some material and have a few made for around 100,000rp each.
Take an el-cheapo rain coat as global warming seems to be playing tricks with the weather.
