I am very interested in finding out about what your opinions are for motorbike licences. My husband holds an open motorbike licence in Australia (has for 20+ years). Do you suggest getting an indonesian licence? (mainly for insurance purposes). We have just come back and he got the international permit before we left but i was worried as i'm not sure if he would have been covered on our travel insurance if he had an accident. Yes! we did take out the extra 'motorcycle' but it also said that it was only covered if you had a local licence. It was so confusing and nobody would give us clear answers to our questions that we put it in the 'too hard' basket lol. Would love your opinion. We will be looking into a different travel insurance company next time.
