Some prefer to eat in Bali just as they would at home. Strange but true. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find authentic Balinese or Indonesian food in the touristy areas & what is available is often spiced-down to suit tourists. Sad indeed.
I do very much enjoy eating flash western food for a fraction of the price in Oz but I also eat often at warungs where there are lots of locals.
