You are exactly correct :) We didn't stay at the Bali Gardens but will be next time, it looks fantastic. We did eat at the boardwalk restaurant twice and it was yummmy and very reasonably priced..don't miss sunset while having a cocktail... while we were having dinner both night they had a performance :) They aren't long but definitely worth seeing..
Bali Gardens is on the beach in Tuban, just a few minutes walk from Discovery Mall (towards Kuta). Sorry i don't know street names but google it, they have a great webpage.
