I recently stayed at the Legian Paradiso. Friends we travelled with had stayed there before and recommended it as a good place to stay for the price. The room we had was clean enough but a bit dark for my liking and the bathrooms very dated but clean enough. The pool is awesome with a swim-up bar. There were never many people in the pool. Fairly quiet hotel as far as guests go. Now as for the noise from the renovations above us, that was another thing! It might be worth checking whether they will be renovating any during your stay and requesting a room away from this. We were woken every morning with the noise of tiles being chipped from the floors above. Afternoon siesta was out of the question. Hopefully it is all done now.
We all enjoyed the breakfast. Do yourself a favour and ask the chef to cook you a banana pancake (yum) All the staff we had dealings with were fantastic and the location of the hotel couldn't be better.
I am sure you will enjoy your time there.
