you head north along Jl Legian to Jl Nakula (beach side is #66) then head to the canal. Cross the bridge to your right then cross another bridge over the canal and the market is on you right.
You can also walk along the road/lane opposite Jl Padma, all the way to to canal and turn left. The early morning market is about a km or 2.
Alternately ask at reception or a local to dink you up there on the back of their bike (ensure your travel insurance covers you for riding and as a passenger on a motor bike, in case of mishap).
We visit the markets regularly to stock up on fresh fruit supplies, local treats for our hotel staff and buy clothing etc for local families.
