The number of drownings and near drownings are HUGE please don't trust the supervision of your children near water to anyone else.........like a non swimming nanny.
My suggestion is to stay at a resort with a great kids club so they are fully supervised while you relax by the pool with your book......that's what we did when they were younger..........
You'd never forgive yourself if something happened and with 16 years in the swimming industry it does happen all too quickly.......
