The vases will stand up without the beads but do not attempt to put too much in them otherwise they will fall if knocked. The beads will help with this but so to will those little glass pebbles if you are stuck. I go over in a couple of weeks but will not be home until October but I will gladly pick some up for you and mail when I get home.
