Lake Bratan is closer to Lovina and is where the Ulun Danu Temple is. I believe you can do some water sports on this one.
I'm pretty sure that C-Bali do their kayaking on Lake Batur which is closer to Kintamani.
The activities you want to do i.e. hot springs, waterfalls and Buddhist temple are all in North Bali but not exactly close enough to just jump from one place to the next.
