I use it all the time when I am away. Agree with TnT to certain extent other than the person I assume you are going to viber call or text is someone in Oz? If they are on a data plan then they will not need to be connected to wifi but definitely suggest you do not use data roaming it will cost you an arm and a leg. Suggest you turn off data roaming on your phone before you leave Oz. The connection you get may not be great as the speeds are not what we are used to.
