Have recently purchased travel insurance for my son-in-law for June.
We used Covermore and they were incredibly helpful. From memory, if your last average BS reading over 3 months is under 12 there isn't even an extra charge. It also takes into account another reading, sorry I can't remember, but it was in letters.
Funnily enough I copped a surcharge for being in hospital within 12 months for an allergy reaction! Hope this helps.
