When we were last in Bali I had $A50 note ready, as back then the exchange rate was fantastic at about $1.05 per USD.
But I was surprised when the VOA officer asked for $A55, as I knew the rate was much better than that on official rates.
Anyway I shall take $A60 with us and be prepared this time!
