If you believe in flying elephants and the chance of someone giving you thousands of dollars worth of "stuff" then take some precaution to make it harder to open your bags. As others have said carry your valueables.
Just look at all the boys taking surfboard bags through- and take a look at how many are plastic wrapped or even locked.
Please don't encourage this environmental foolishness.
