I'm a bit confused about how much of the day each of the greetings 'salamat pagi', 'salamat' sore' and 'salamat siang' cover. Does it somehow reflect the 'rhythm' of the day rather than specific hours?
I think I've worked out that 'salamat malam' starts as the sun goes down, but I could be wrong about that too!
Can someone clarify for me?
