every hotel subscribes to the booking sites and the sites usually charge 10 - 15% for every booking. The hotel is the one who loads the rate onto the site. I try to encourage my guests to book directly with me to save on paying the commission. Email the hotel directly and say that you saw the rate on x site and they will honour that price. Just check the difference in the cancellation policy on hotel web and what they are stating on the booking site - thats important.
