Honestly though we have been to Gili Trawangan and went snorkelling near Gili Meno.....absolutely wonderful......
If you go on to a web site called Lombok Network they have all sorts of packages.......we did the 2days Gili 2 days Lombok.....fast boat over from PadangBai and flew back to Bali......
As we had never ventured to this part of Indonesia we did the package thing(best move we ever did) we were extremely happy with all that we received from this company...there are others who may disagree and I am not saying this is for you either ...but they have a lot of good info on their website!!!
Also there is a forum called LombokLovers, plenty of helpful people on there also........ good choice KGB....
If you don't think you are ready for that trek....try a few days on Nusa Lembongan....equally beautiful ....same same but different.......so many places !!!! :) Deb
