agree with the article and the various sentiments from the Indo expert Ross Taylor recently. I think Aussies are generally friendly and fun loving but just need to remember we all need to be ambassadors for our country. Sitting by the pool at KP last year I was horrified by the "sheilas" shouting insults and jokes and being revolting in the early afternoon after too many Binnys. Funny to think that we don't tolerate Muslims with their head gear but happy to walk around pissed half naked shouting obscenities in Indo.
Re $spend years ago the hardest cases in Thailand were Germans and Europeans and as for loutish behaviour without doubt the English as we all know tend to behave very badly o/seas in places like Spain. I guess each nationality gets a bad rep when en masse So lets all remember that fun can be managed in a culturally sensitive way!
