I have stated that I agree with certain aspects of what the writer, and what the star surfer said.
Do you think that it's accurate reporting that 10 years ago people were spending 3 times more than today??
Do you believe that the average stay length by Australians is "three or four days"??.
Would I stay at the Bounty??....No.
Would I stay at the Barong...No.
Would I stay any place that had a boozy pool bar that had loud "Pool Bingo" games....No.
If I chose to stay in one of those places and then complained about the noise I'd be a dreamer.
I stand by the comment that journalists have a responsibility to reflect the facts, especially when it comes to statistics.
But then why let the facts get in the way of a good story.
