this is why we stay in Sanur and always at small establishments or a villa. I have to say that when I am in Bali I find myself embarrassed to be an Aussie.
And the bogan, drunken, loudmouth behaviour is not just confined to the young,I have seen many middle age men and women carry on this way.
Why go on a holiday if all you are going to do is sit in a pool at the poolbar all day and get p@#ssed and carry on and then stagger out of a night to continue the drunken behaviour. It amazes me, esp. when you see them walking down the street in their short skirts bikini tops and braided hair (the over 40's that is). Or the men in their boardies with the beer belly hanging over it. (not a good look)I dont even think this is suitable attire even if you are young and have a fantastic figure. Would you walk down your hometown mainstreet dressed that way.
The total disregard they show to the Balinese and others beggars belief.
Rant over now, sorry but this behaviour really annoys me.
