Krating daeng is Thai for a type of buffalo found in s/e Asia; Red Bull was invented by a Thai and named Red Bull for marketing to the western world. The "Indo version" bottles you mention is Kratingdaeng and is basically the same thing although Indonesians like things sweet so there may be some extra sugar.
