I can't help with the OP's request, but I just wanted to say that I'm currently in Bali on my first solo trip. I've been to Bali 6 or 7 times before, but never alone, and I was as nervous as anything on the way here (and I'm 31!) It would be very daunting for an 18 year old. I'm sure if he's prepared to ask someone near him on the plane if he can tag along with them through the airport, they will be happy to help - most Aussies are a happy helpful bunch (Cherill aside obviously...)
