Hi,
I know it's not alot of help, but maybe you could write down the steps that he needs to take at the airport so he feels he has some idea. I'm not travelling then, but maybe post again a week or two before his travel dates as more people will look as their trip gets closer. I had a girlfriend fly from a different state to me and I wrote it all down but she said she spoke to a couple on the plane and said she was travelling alone and was a bit scared - so they said "follow us" and she was fine. I met her outside so it all worked out well.

You can't go into the airport for departure without a ticket so he would be on his own going back as well - I tried to do that with my sister who had lots of baggage to help - they wouldn't let me through the doors.

Ignore the negative people on the forum - I have two sons, 23 & 25 and they travel and I still worry a bit - always - it's okay and they don't like it but it's what us Mums do.....

Have a wonderful time.

Penny
